What devices do I need?
Any modern device works: iPhones, iPads, Android phones/tablets, or desktop computers
Do I need Wi-Fi or a data plan in the field?
An internet connection or data plan improves functionality.
How long does it take to get my property mapped and infrastructure files up and running?
Typically 2-4 weeks, depending on your site’s size and data availability.
What features can I track?
You can track any type of infrastructure — irrigation, drainage, lighting, paving, turf, and more.
Can I add my own information to the features?
Absolutely. You can write descriptions, and tag custom fields for every feature.
Why should I use this instead of PDFs or Google Earth?
M4 FieldView offers real-time location tracking, searchable infrastructure, high-resolution imagery, and editable maps that grow with your site — not just a static document.
Setup & Integration
Can I use my old as-built drawings?
Yes, if they’re in a georeferenced CAD or GIS format (like DXF or shapefiles). If not, we can convert paper or PDF drawings into usable data.
What if I don’t have any as-builts?
We can generate them for you using drones and on-site audits, mapping visible infrastructure and working with your team to identify buried systems.
How often is the imagery updated?
We provide a high-resolution drone image during setup. You can request additional updates as needed.
What kind of support do you provide?
Ongoing support includes phone/email help, onboarding sessions, and premium GIS consulting for Partner tier clients.
What happens if I press the wrong thing — can I mess something up?
No worries. You can’t break anything. The app is designed to be safe and easy to use. If you ever make a mistake, we can help fix it quickly.

Who can see our data?
Only the users you authorize. You control permissions for who can view, edit, or add information.
Is our data secure?
Yes. We use cloud-hosted, encrypted storage with access controls to keep your data safe and private.
Can I share this data with my contractors or staff?
